For the past few months now,
my doings have largely been dominated by one word: ‘packing.’
‘Packing’, of course, is more a blanket term and the idea of putting stuff in boxes is merely the tip if the iceberg. In reality you inevitably find your repotaire to become quite expanded. Other fun stuff includes washing and wiping the showers and windows; emptying and re-arranging the contents of said boxes; vacuuming the house and cleaning down the walls; bagging, shifting then emptying mountains of dirt for the veggie patch; culling your worldly posessions and constantly walking the dogs at the new place so they can settle- to name just a few!
At the end of the day though, what is life but a series of interlinked experiences? No matter how we may rant and rave against what happens, we must simply ride the wave wherever it takes us. I encourage you to embrace whatever change is headed you way. Take heart from the love and support that surrounds you and remember this- it ain’t over ‘til the fat lady sings!
